24/7 Emergency Service

Our accident and emergency department is on call around the clock to provide immediate medical attention to critical and life-threatening emergencies for our patients at any time of the day. Our medical specialists in charge of the A&E department are trained to work well under such emergencies and handle them with professionalism. The average waiting time for the emergency service is 30 minutes. Our A&E medical team provide specialised care for various conditions that the patients might be presented with.


Blood Bank

Blood is a major component needed in treatment for various illnesses and injuries thanks to the many life-saving qualities present. Blood is therefore highly in demand at medical centres; up to 120,000 units of blood needed for transfusion of patients every year, an average of 400 unites of blood a day. This is why blood donors are the lifeline for such patients who need to survive on blood transfusion regularly. In order to ensure a steady supply of blood supply, it is vital for a 6-day supply of blood maintained in the national inventory. This blood is used in many medical emergencies such as accident survivors, those undergoing major surgeries (organ transplant), cancer patients with blood disorders, and many other patients who need blood.


Extensive Operation Theater

Medical Circle is home to 18 Operating Theatres (OTs), adjacent to the Emergency Department (A&E) and Incentive Care Unit (ICU) through the trauma lifts. The OTs are connected to the electronic medical record, easily accessible by the medical team and professions to update the necessary patient data. Medical Circle’s OTs are designed to be the most optimal efficiency to facilitate a seamless operational flow for performing complex surgical operations. All of our surgery suites is equipped with sophisticated and most advanced equipment such as the positive pressure rooms. Such equipment reduces the risk of infections in order to operate with single-use surgical devices only.


General Checkup

We provide health screening and medical check ups that comprise of series of simple and non-invasive tests done to diagnose any risk of diseases to undertake any preventive measures, or to detect any pre-existing conditions for early intervention. Tests are customised according to the various risk factors each group presents such as, Age, Environment, Health History, Genetics, Lifestyle and Gender.


Indoor Pharmacy

Our pharmacy is responsible for dispensing medications daily for inpatients and outpatients. The team of pharmacists works closely to ensure patients receive highest quality of pharmaceutical care possible. We not only provide outpatient pharmacy services, but also medication therapy review and counselling, inpatient pharmacy services, compounding services and quality assurance programmes. This is to ensure that the medication use process is safer for patients via counselling, patient medication profiling and educational leaflets on medications, alternate medicines and health supplements.


ICU Services

Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a specialised facility dedicating our efforts to care for patients who require intensive monitoring, nurse care and complex respiratory support. We believe in providing the best of care, our goal is to provide state-of-the-art critical care medicine. The ICU is staffed with staffed with a multidisciplinary team of intensives, residents, critical care nurses, respiratory therapists, physiotherapists and pharmacists. There are 8 individual rooms in the ICU at Medical Circle. Each equipped with computerised physiological monitoring systems. Variety of sophistication ventilatory techniques available with non-invasive ventilation (NIV), airway pressure release ventilation (APRV) and high frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV) are available as well.
